The Peaks of Hajla Mountain (Maja e Hajlës)

Hajla Mountain is one of the most scenic peaks in the Rugova region, standing tall on the border between Kosovo and Montenegro. Its rolling meadows, pine forests, and sweeping ridgelines make it one of the most rewarding hikes in the Accursed Mountains.

Unlike sharp rocky peaks, Hajla offers a more gradual climb, making it suitable even for intermediate hikers. From the summit, you’re treated to unobstructed 360° views over Rugova Valley, the Montenegrin highlands, forest slopes, and alpine pastures.
